En los confines de la cordillera del Himalaya, donde las montañas se elevan como testigos de un tiempo inmemorial, y el viento susurra historias ancestrales, yace el corazón apacible pero asediado del pueblo tibetano. Y es así como en este documental Solá retrata a todo un pueblo, sus pesares y sus anhelos. Por Nito Marsiglio.

Entre picos cubiertos de nieve y valles serenos, se despliega una lucha feroz y silenciosa, un conflicto que trasciende las barreras geográficas para capturar la esencia misma de la resistencia humana.

El Tibet, tierra de monasterios antiguos y tradiciones profundamente arraigadas, ha sido sometido a la agresión implacable de la maquinaria estatal china desde hace décadas. 

La ocupación china, en su afán de expansión territorial y dominio político, ha arrojado una sombra oscura sobre esta región de serenidad y espiritualidad.

Los monjes tibetanos, guardianes de una sabiduría milenaria, han visto sus templos profanados y sus enseñanzas silenciadas por un régimen que busca anular cualquier forma de identidad que no se alinee con sus ideales de control absoluto.

Sin embargo, en medio de la opresión y el sufrimiento, surge la llama de la resistencia. Los monjes tibetanos, en su pacífica pero firme determinación, se convierten en símbolos de la lucha por la libertad y la justicia. 

En las montañas neblinosas del Tibet, donde la esperanza se erige como una torre inexpugnable frente a la adversidad, la resistencia persiste, recordándonos que mientras haya un solo alma que se niegue a someterse, la luz de la libertad nunca se extinguirá.

Metok es una monje tibetana y se encuentra estudiando budismo y medicina en la India. Ante el pedido de auxilio de su madre decide arriesgarse a enfrentar el peligro del viaje y el riesgo de enfrentar a las autoridades chinas y regresar a su tierra amada que durante muchos años estuvo alejada.

La obra posee un manejo de imágenes notable que permite disfrutar de un maravilloso entorno dentro de un guion que sumerge al espectador en una historia atrapante sobre una parte del mundo poco conocida.
