Ulises Rosell logró el primer premio en la categoría largometraje con un documental que retrata el inicio de la pandemia del Covid-19 en distintos puntos del país. Bariloche se volvió a vestir de cine y durante seis días celebró los 11 años ininterrumpidos del Festival Audiovisual Bariloche que fortalece la industria y genera espacios de reflexión y encuentro, democratizando el acceso al séptimo arte. Organizado por la Secretaría de Estado de Cultura de Río Negro con apoyo del Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales celebró una nueva edición y otorgó los premios a las categorías en competencia. Durante la premiación Silvia Alvarado, secretaria de Desarrollo Cultural de Río Negro, recordó la importancia de “tener un festival que promueve y enriquece la producción audiovisual, fortalece la relación entre realizadores y público y contribuye al progreso de la industria”.
El Festival Audiovisual Bariloche año a año genera un gran impacto en la ciudad y la provincia. Genera empleo directo e indirecto durante los días del Festival y en sus meses previos.
Es una fiesta del cine y se convirtió en un emblema para la Patagonia. Cinéfilos acuden en cada edición y se abren espacios para nuevos públicos, brindando la oportunidad a cientos de niños, niñas y adolescentes de encontrarse por primera vez con la magia del séptimo arte, democratizando el acceso a las salas de cine.
Referentes de la industria audiovisual brindaron talleres libres y gratuitos que tuvieron gran repercusión en el público general, así como en estudiantes de las carreras de artes de la región.
Durante seis días se proyectaron películas en el marco de la Retrospectiva de Carlos Sorín que culminó con una charla abierta con el reconocido director, quien habló de los desafíos de la industria audiovisual frente a la nueva tecnología.
El festival incluyó también una sección en homenaje a los 40 años de democracia, proyectando cinco largometrajes invitados que dieron cuenta de cómo el cine argentino es un reflejo de este momento histórico.
Acompañaron el acto de premiación: Natalia Villegas Subsecretaria de Patrimonio y Cooperación Cultural, Cristian Calvo, Director del Polo Audiovisual, Rodrigo de Echeandía Gerente de Medios y Audiencias Cine.ar – Cine.arPlay, Cine Gaumont – Desarrollo Federal – Espacios INCAA, María Martelotti, Responsable de Premio CINE AR, el Dr. Guillermo Aguiar, Vice-Rector de la Universidad Nacional de Río Negro, Jorgelina Paravano de Argentores y Mariano Benito, Director Artístico del FAB.
