La obra del aclamado compositor Andrew Lloyd Webber, con letra de Glenn Slater y libro de Julian Fellowes, basada en la película protagonizada por el mítico Jack Black, será co-producida por las cuatro productoras de teatro más importantes de Argentina: MP Producciones, OZONO Producciones, Carlos y Tomas Rottemberg y PRELUDIO Producciones.
El equipo creativo está compuesto por el prestigioso director Ariel Del Mastro, que tendrá a su cargo la Dirección General, Marcelo Caballero en la Dirección Actoral, Analía Gonzalez en la dirección coreográfica, Jorge Ferrari en el diseño escenográfico, Federico Vilas en la Producción Musical, Sebastián Mazzoni en la Dirección Vocal.
SCHOOL OF ROCK, el Musical, narra las desventuras de Dewey Finn, un desocupado que, tras ser echado de su propia banda de rock, asume la identidad de su compañero de cuarto y comienza a dar clases de música en una prestigiosa escuela. Allí, enseña a sus alumnos sobre la pasión que genera el rock and roll y todos deciden formar una banda para competir por un gran premio.
La película se convirtió en una de las más taquilleras de 2003 y su show en vivo viene recorriendo el mundo con un éxito a la altura de sus legendarios creadores.
Al formidable elenco adulto se le suman 39 chicos y chicas artistas que, además de actuar, cantar y bailar, tocan en vivo por primera vez en un escenario distintos instrumentos musicales.
La producción garantiza durante toda la temporada localidades desde $15.000, al efecto de llegar con su propuesta a la mayor cantidad posible de audiencia.
La temporada es limitada e improrrogable hasta el domingo 28 de julio. El complejo montaje de “School of Rock” no permite movilizarlo por fuera del escenario del teatro Gran Rex de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Las localidades se adquieren desde tu casa o teléfono por http://tuentrada.com o presencialmente sin cargos extras con tarjetas de crédito, débito o efectivo en la boletería del teatro.
Las funciones se desarrollarán de miércoles a domingos, con dos funciones diarias los días feriados y durante las vacaciones de invierno escolares.
