El jueves 18 de julio llega a las salas argentinas Las voces de Pablo, una película documental de Gonzalo Murúa Losada, en la que boceta una semblanza de su padre con quien lo unió una relación compleja. Por Nito Marsiglio.

En 2013, Pablo Murúa, hijo del actor y director argentino Lautaro Murúa, murió. Impulsado por la necesidad de sanar un vínculo fracturado durante años, su hijo Gonzalo decide emprender un viaje hacia la historia del “ingobernable” Pablo.

En una reconstrucción de recuerdos propios y ajenos Gonzalo se adentra en lo que piensa que constituye a su padre: los cuentos que nunca publicó.

Gonzalo Murúa Losada estudió Licenciatura en Cine en la Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires (FUC), luego realizó su maestría en Cine documental (FUC).

Trabaja como montajista freelance, director de documentales y profesor. Recientemente ha sido convocado por el Tecnológico de Monterrey (México) como profesor de tiempo completo, donde imparte clases de cine.

Su primer largometraje documental fue Los fantasmas de Losada (2015), sobre la historia de la editorial Losada. Luego estrenó Te quiero obsceno (2016) sobre la poetisa travesti Naty Menstrual, que fue seleccionado en numerosos festivales nacionales e internacionales vinculados a la temática de género. En 2023 inició un proyecto documental sobre el coro LGBTIQ+ de Sonora y en julio 2024 estrena Las voces de Pablo, con apoyo del INCAA.

SOBRE EL PROYECTO

De pequeño, pasaba largas tardes con mi padre; ambos leíamos teatro y cada uno interpretaba un personaje. Durante las noches, solíamos ver películas y charlar. Siempre intentó cuidarme a su manera, hacerme reír, estar presente. Sin embargo, un día comencé a notar que mi padre no era como los demás padres. A medida que fui creciendo, empecé a percibir la carga emocional que pesaba sobre él, su incapacidad  con el mundo laboral, con quienes le ofrecían afecto, consigo mismo y con la “realidad” real.

Siento que no llegué a conocer verdaderamente a mi padre, a ese Pablo del que todos hablan pero nadie puede restituir. Solo iluminan pequeños fragmentos de un fantasma. A través del relato fílmico, busco reconstruir, iluminar de una vez por todas la oscuridad. Deseo rearmar lo sano para poder reconstruir un vínculo saludable, para que esas obras de teatro que leíamos no sean simples personajes en mi memoria, sino un padre que le sonríe a su hijo en un recuerdo restaurado.
