Frente a la situación crítica que está atravesando el cine argentino producto del desfinanciamiento del Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales, convocamos el próximo lunes 22 de mayo, a partir de las 9.30 horas, en las puertas del INCAA (Lima 319, CABA) para apoyar la reunión del Consejo Asesor a la cual fue convocado el Ministro de Cultura Tristán bauer, quien ha confirmado su asistencia.
Junto con un petitorio que ya lleva más de 1.500 firmas de personalidades del cine y la cultura, como de un amplio abanico de profesionales del audiovisual nacional, le exigimos al Ministro de Cultura, Sr. Tristán Bauer, y al Presidente del INCAA, Sr. Nicolás Batlle, acciones inmediatas sobre los siguientes puntos:
– Que ingrese de manera urgente el dinero que se comprometió a aportar el Tesoro Nacional para que el Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (INCAA) pueda seguir funcionando durante 2023.
– Que desde el Instituto de Cine y el Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación exijan a la AFIP que recaude los impuestos genuinos de las plataformas de streaming y que destine esos recursos al Fondo de Fomento Cinematográfico.
– Que se solicite al ENACOM un informe detallado de los ingresos que deberían ir al cine, que se fiscalicen y que se transfiera al INCAA el porcentaje correspondiente según la recaudación del organismo.
La comunidad audiovisual de todo el país se declara en estado de alerta. Se está vaciando la cinematografía argentina, reduciendo los recursos que le corresponden a las películas nacionales y favoreciendo a capitales concentrados de las plataformas de streaming. Toda la cadena del acervo cultural está en riesgo: las escuelas de cine, los puestos de trabajo, la futura Cinemateca, la producción de películas, los espacios de exhibición, las políticas de federalización y de ampliación de derechos. En definitiva, está en riesgo el pasado, el presente y el futuro del cine argentino.
Esperamos a toda la comunidad audiovisual a acercarse para manifestar la preocupación que compartimos y para pedir a las autoridades responsables que se comprometan con el cine nacional.
