SINOPSIS
Luba y Tamara, abuela y nieta, son las protagonistas de este divertido, tierno y triste documental donde vemos cómo el linaje nos marca y forma parte de nuestro ser y hacer. Somos nuestra historia y cómo lidiamos con ella.
MOTIVACIÓN DE LA DIRECTORA
Desde mis comienzos como artista sentí la necesidad y la obligación moral de producir una obra en relación a mi abuela y el holocausto. Era una voz presente que en algunos momentos se escuchaba más fuerte que en otros, pero nunca se callaba. La idea daba vueltas en mi cabeza. La historia de mi abuela Luba me ha marcado y su presencia se siente a cada instante. Al morir bastante joven mi mamá, ella tomó un rol más importante en mi vida. Yo me identifico mucho con ella en la forma de ser y de hacer.
Este proyecto surgió hace muchos años cuando aún vivía mi abuela Luba. Ella era una persona muy fuerte y amorosa, con un ímpetu avasallante. Violenta por momentos, se llevaba el mundo por delante. Yo quería explicar y justificar esa violencia a través de un documental que contara su historia como sobreviviente de la guerra. Quería mostrar su lado afectuoso y decir al mundo que no era culpa de ella, que la guerra la había marcado a fuego.
Este documental es una búsqueda personal, íntima, un intento de transmitir a mis hijas y a su generación las vivencias de una persona cercana y presente en nuestro recuerdo como lo fue mi abuela. Para que el holocausto no sea una página más en los libros de historia y algo de ese linaje continúe en ellas también, aunque queramos perdonar, aunque queramos olvidar. Que sea algo palpable y tangible. Personas de carne y hueso vivieron ese horror y las marcas de lo sucedido nos acompañan aún y lo seguirán haciendo. Por lo menos a través de esta película.
