Del 6 al 12 de mayo, Argentina celebra la animación regional en la séptima edición de ANIMA LATINA, Festival de Cine de Animación Latinoamericano. En 2024, será nuevamente un festival híbrido, que combinará exhibiciones y actividades presenciales y online. Se exhibirán más de 120 obras de once países y se realizarán 10 actividades especiales. ANIMA LATINA, 7°Festival de Cine de Animación Latinoamericano, se realizará del 6 al 12 de mayo, en Buenos Aires, Argentina, será nuevamente un evento híbrido que combinará exhibiciones y actividades presenciales y online. Como siempre, con acceso libre y gratuito. Tendrá como sedes el Centro Cultural San Martín,en CABA, Lumiton Usina Audiovisual y Centro Cultural Munro en Vicente López, provincia de Buenos Aires y el Centro Cultural Tantanakuy, en Humahuaca, Jujuy.Además, llegará a todo el país a través de las plataformas LUMITON.

ANIMA LATINA nació como un espacio de difusión y exhibición de la animación latinoamericana, con un fuerte compromiso con los jóvenes talentos emergentes.

Como todos los años, el festival invita a un artista a rediseñar la imagen del evento. Este año fue el turno de la directora y animadora argentina Inés Labarrère.

La Selección Oficial está conformada por 116 producciones provenientes de 11 países de la región, entre los que se incluye Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil,Chile, Colombia,Ecuador, Guatemala, México,Paraguay, Perú y Uruguay.

En esta edición se presentará una Retrospectiva de la obra de la directora y animadora Aldana Loiseau, en la que se exhibirá una selección de cortometrajes que han sido desarrollados en la provincia de Jujuy, haciendo foco en aquellas realizadas con una técnica novedosa de animación con arcilla. Loiseau participará también de una entrevista pública, donde compartirá sus reflexiones sobre su trayectoria artística, su proceso creativo y su visión del cine contemporáneo.

“Producción para TESIS: haciendo el camino inverso”, con  Rocío Kristoff, Maria Ayelen Bustos Suarez,Julian Lassa Ortiz y Ailin Bustamante

“StopMotion por Moco Estudio”, con Belén Tagliabue, Karina Fuentes, Ana Martin

“Historias de mujeres, contadas por mujeres”, con Belén Tagliabue (Bar La Matanza), Malena Medel (Fue hoy) y Liliana Romero (Techo de cristal)
