Del 04 al 06 de Octubre del 2024 vuelve el Merlo Sangriento Festival de Cine Latinoamericano de Terror y Fantástico en la localidad de Villa de Merlo; provincia de San Luis. La tercera edición del festival abre su convocatoria para la competencia de cortometrajes latinoamericanos. Por Nito Marsiglio.
El Festival de Cine Merlo Sangriento nace con la necesidad de fomentar el cine de género en la Argentina. El cine de terror, ciencia ficción y fantasía crece cada día más en el país y este tipo de eventos acercan estas producciones a los amantes de estas historias. La creación de un nuevo espacio para la provincia de San Luis da la oportunidad a realizadores independientes que puedan presentar sus largometrajes y cortometrajes al público; que de otra manera no podrían acceder a él.
El festival contará con invitados que darán charlas y talleres durante la jornada. Música, escenografías, muestras de festivales invitados, puestos de venta y comida.
El evento volverá a realizarse en el Centro Cultural de la Casa del Poeta Agüero (Poeta Agüero 380) del viernes 04 al Domingo 06 de octubre del 2024. Hasta el 15 de agosto tienen tiempo de enviar cortometrajes para participar del festival. Las obras enviadas pueden ser argentinas o dentro del territorio latinoamericano bajo la temática fantástica (terror, fantasía, bizarro y ciencia ficción). La duración máxima es de 30 minutos incluidos los créditos.
