Fue seleccionada en FIDBA Festival Internacional de Cine Documental

de Buenos Aires y en el festival de documentales MajorDocs de Mallorca. Por Nito Marsiglio.

El film de Juan Manuel Bugarín “Puerto Deseado”, que retrata los días de un ex-combatiente de Malvinas, su intimidad y una vida llena de interrogantes y pendientes que nos interpela como sociedad ante nuestros héroes, fue seleccionada dentro de las competencias oficiales en los prestigiosos FIDBA y MajorDocs de Mallorca.

El documental tuvo su estreno mundial en la Sección Oficial Internacional de la 35º edición de una de las competencias más importantes de documentales: el Festival de Amsterdam (IDFA). Además se prevé estreno comercial en el último trimestre del 2023

Sinopsis

Marcelo, un ex-combatiente de Malvinas, planifica un viaje largamente soñado para regresar a las islas sin pasaporte y plantar bandera Argentina cuarenta años después.

Una lancha llamada Huesos ocupa un inmenso espacio dentro de su taller mecánico. Mapas, medallas envejecidas, un casco, sus hijos refugiándose en la música y el diálogo perdido con su esposa e hija son elementos que componen la vida de este veterano de guerra.

Por las noches se refugia en su embarcación y sueña con la travesía.

Recorre las calles de Buenos Aires encerrado en su auto y busca camaradería en los encuentros con otros ex combatientes.

Después de transitar estos viajes íntimos, Puerto Deseado abre interrogantes sobre la vida de esta familia.

¿Cómo y a quiénes afecta la postguerra?

¿Tienen esas cicatrices una posibilidad de sanación?
