La séptima edición del Festival de Cine de General Pico tendrá lugar del 3 al 9 de agosto. Este festival se caracteriza por el encuentro de la comunidad para ver cine en el cine. Se trata de un evento que es referencia social y cultural ineludible para la comunidad de General Pico. Por Nito Marsiglio.
El festival se propone fortalecer la cultura audiovisual a través de la diversidad cinematográfica y el estímulo de la formación de audiencia a través de invitados nacionales de la industria cinematográfica, junto a competencias de largometrajes nacionales e internacionales (esta última debutando en esta edición!), cortometrajes regionales y nacionales, proyecciones especiales y muestras de cine italiano e internacional.
El Festival de Pico ofrece al público de esa ciudad, de localidades cercanas y a visitantes de otros puntos del país, la oportunidad de disfrutar del cine, de renovar miradas, abrirse a posibles nuevas representaciones y de dejarse atravesar por las emociones que suscitan las películas programadas y el encuentro con sus realizadores.
Programación
Este año, además de las competencias y secciones ya presentes en ediciones previas, se suma una sección competitiva de largometrajes internacionales. Pero además desde la dirección del festival se ha programado una edición de estrenos, buscando que el Festival sea para los realizadores ese momento en el que se muestra por primera vez una película en todo el país; ser así el inicio de un camino para una obra cinematográfica.
Esta séptima edición sigue siendo para una comunidad en movimiento; pensando al cine como oportunidad de encuentro, pensamiento, refugio y estímulo.
