Festeja los 10 años, del jueves 4 al 10 de abril en Cinépolis Recoleta Buenos Aires. Como cada edición, habrá una destacada selección de las mejores películas del cine italiano. Por Nito Marsiglio.
La décima edición confirma el gran nivel del cine italiano contemporáneo, presentando una selección de 12 films durante 7 días con directores/as consagrados y jóvenes con nuevas miradas, propuestas estéticas y diversas temáticas. Organizada por Cinecittà con el apoyo de la Embajada de Italia y el ICE (Agencia Italiana para el Comercio exterior), quienes, como cada año, están comprometidos con el público para mostrar un cine italiano de calidad, siendo una cita imperdible en el otoño porteño.
Contaremos con la presencia de importantes invitados/as para brindar un encuentro cercano con los espectadores locales, además de la delegación organizadora de la muestra.
Estarán presentes la directora y actriz Paola Cortellesi de “C’è ancora domani” (Siempre nos quedará un mañana), que será la película de apertura de esta edición. Obra que ganó muchísimos premios, con excelentes críticas y se convirtió en el film más taquillero y con mayor recaudación en Italia en el 2023, con casi 6 millones de espectadores superando a Barbie (4.390.410) y a Oppenheimer (3.773.191). Obtuvo el “Dragon Award” Best International Film del Göteborg Film Festival 2024, en el Festival de Cine de Roma fue la proyección de apertura y ganó el Premio especial del jurado y el Premio del público.
La directora Laura Luchetti por “La bella estate” (El lindo verano), adaptación de una novela de César Pavese, que tuvo su estreno mundial en el Festival de Locarno; Ginevra Elkann por “Te l’avevo detto” (Te lo dije), una comedia negra con un reconocido elenco para la cinefilia italiana en una Roma que pierde el control cuando llega un calor extremo; El director Brando De Sica por “Mimì – Il principe delle tenebre” (Mimí, el príncipe de las tinieblas) presenta su ópera prima para los amantes del género de terror con una impronta y estilo propio. Su película fue Mención Especial (Noves Visions) en el Sitges Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico de Cataluña 2023.
Completan la muestra: “Rapito” (La Conversión) del consagrado director Marco Bellocchio, estrenada en competencia oficial de Cannes, una gran obra de época sobre la religión y el poder.
“La chimera” (La Quimera) de Alice Rohrwacher, multipremiada película, compitió en Cannes por la Palma de Oro, con reconocidos actores y actrices. Ambientada en la Toscana donde varios destinos entrelazados viajan en busca de la quimera.
“Il sol dell’avvenire” (El Sol del futuro) del premiado director Nanni Moretti, donde también actúa junto a un gran elenco. Un regreso a la comedia en un film dentro de un film que compitió en la última edición de Cannes.
“Una sterminata domenica” (Un domingo sin fin) de Alain Parroni, ópera prima coproducida por el gran Wim Wenders que participó de la competencia en la última edición de Venecia. Tres jóvenes de los suburbios de Roma deben enfrentar a este mundo hostil, tratando de dejar su huella.
“Stranizza D’amuri” (Fuego Artificiales) ópera prima de Guiseppe Fiorello ganador de varios premios. Un drama ambientado en Sicilia de los años 80, con interpretaciones destacadas, retrata la crudeza y desprotección de una generación de adolescentes.
“Invelle” (En ningún lado) ópera prima animada de la directora Simone Massi presentada en el Festival de Venecia, en el que ganó el Premio Lizzani, una historia de guerra vista a través de los ojos de unas niñas.
“Misericordia” de Emma Dante es un drama que expone la pobreza extrema, el maltrato y la crueldad en un pueblo de Sicilia. Ganó como mejor película y mejor actor en el Festival Black Nights de Tallin
“Enea” de Pietro Castellitto nominada al León de Oro en el Festival de Venecia. Enea persigue al mito que lleva en su nombre. Junto a su amigo transitan los excesos, el caos, la traición para sentirse vivos y encontrar algo de humanidad.
