“La literatura empieza cuando la expresión se transforma en comunicación, cuando tu libertad va hacia la libertad de otro.” Le dice a su entrevistadora Abelardo Castillo uno de los grandes de la literatura argentina. Por Nito Marsiglio

Se puede disfrutar en el documental que Castillo no solo fue un increíble constructor de personajes, sino que él mismo fue un increíble personaje.

Curiosa y divertida la mirada y aversión que tiene sobre los viajes.

“Kant, tal vez el único hombre que verdaderamente pensó, y lo máximo que viajó fue 11 km”. Romper el mito de la experiencia, replica quien lo entrevista refiriéndose a los viajes.

“Los hombre duros no bailan…”  lo dice mientras cuenta cómo fue su experiencia con el alcohol y como fue cuando dejó de tomar. Y de allí se refiere a su dependencia hacia la literatura y arremete diciendo: “yo hubiera sido una persona mucho más simpática y cordial si no me hubiera dedicado nunca a la literatura.”

“Siempre creí que algún día se me van a acabar los libros y me voy a morir, por eso siempre pensé en dejar unos cuantos sin leer nada más que para conservar la vida.”

En la madrugada del 2 de mayo de 1917, Argentina pierde a uno de sus más agudos observadores de la condición humana y a un maestro en el arte de narrar. 

Castillo, nacido en 1935 en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, fue mucho más que un autor prolífico. Su pluma, afilada como una espada, penetra las complejidades del alma humana con una precisión quirúrgica. 

Desde sus primeras obras, como “Los mundos reales” y “Las otras puertas”, hasta su aclamada novela “Crónica de un iniciado”, Castillo trazó un camino literario marcado por la profundidad psicológica, la exploración existencial y la búsqueda incesante de la verdad.

Como editor y fundador de la revista “El Escarabajo de Oro”, fue un ferviente promotor de la literatura argentina contemporánea, dando voz a una nueva generación de talentos emergentes. 

En este documental, Liliana Paolinelli se adentra, magníficamente, en la vida y obra de este genial escritor argentino mostrándonos a los espectadores sus diversas facetas muchas de ellas desconocidas.
