Este magnífico proyecto liderado por Cynthia Sabat y Paulo Pécora, busca poner en valor el cortometraje argentino. 

Existe una equivocada apreciación, posiblemente arrastrada de la narrativa, de valorizar de acuerdo al tamaño de la obra. De allí que un cortometraje, así como un cuento, no se le da  el mismo valor que un largometraje, asi como a una novela.

Tanto Cynthia como Paulo a través de “10 cortos 10”, que ya va por su séptima edición, a través de una selección de los mejores cortos realizados en el país, buscan promover a este formato.

Aquí la crítica de una pequeña selección de las obras de esta edición que se puede disfrutar en Octubre TV.

Los Eucaliptos es un cortometraje que transcurre en unos veinte minutos y comienza contando la historia de un edificio de Buenos Aires. De sus creadores, unos arquitectos discípulos de Le Corbusier, que buscaban en aquella época para realizar ese edificio cuya particularidad era que se integraba con un eucalipto. 

La historia va tomando un interesante giro para centrarse en una caja fuerte, que cada departamento posee, y de allí se forma todo un interesante misterio. 

Es notable el ritmo que toma la obra y como va manejando el suspenso. 

La Mutante, presenta un día en la cruda vida de una joven (Noelia Gonzalez) madre con un niño de apenas un par de años que tienen que tratar de sobrevivir, solos,  en una Rosario, ruda, cruel y despiadada.

El corto posee entre otros méritos  la actuación de Noelia, magníficas puestas de cámara además de una narrativa clara y precisa a la que no le sobra ni falta nada y un buen manejo del sonido. Una pequeña joya.

Mein Buch, de Max Mirelmann es tal vez el relato corto más dulce, magistralmente escrito, emotivo y poético de los que he podido apreciar en los últimos tiempos. Y creo que no exagero. 

Con un ritmo genial la historia de una familia, particularmente la del padre que partió de Suiza hacia la Argentina, va narrando una charla ideal muy atrapante. Acompañada de imágenes de archivo familiar.

Es una obra de esas que da placer repetir y de las que difícil se olvidan.
