Víctor (Patricio Arellano), un hombre soltero de 37 años, se reencuentra por casualidad con David (Esteban Recagno), su primer amor. Este acontecimiento resulta impactante para él ya que han pasado quince años desde la última vez que se vieron. Este inesperado reencuentro revive aquel amor clandestino que vivieron cuando eran más jóvenes. Víctor nunca pudo superar aquella herida que le ocasionó David al desaparecer de su vida de un momento a otro por no soportar el peso de la sociedad. David está actualmente casado con una mujer, lo cual le quita esperanzas a Victor pero, luego de una breve charla, ambos concuerdan en que se deben una charla.
Luego de un atropellado primer encuentro entre ambos donde Victor pone las cartas sobre la mesa comienza una seguidilla de encuentros a escondidas cada vez que la mujer de David viaja por cuestiones laborales. Si bien Victor sigue enamorado de David, cada vez que se encuentran suelen haber momentos agridulces donde David, en su negación interna, hiere a Victor con comentarios. Esta relación tóxica crece y crece, pero el miedo que siente Victor al saber que cada encuentro entre ambos quizá sea el último, hace que Victor pierda todo tipo de dignidad. En los altibajos de esta compleja relación comienza a haber un atisbo de esperanza hasta que David llegará con una noticia determinante para el futuro de los dos.
El director Matías De Leis Correa se pregunta si podemos revivir aquellos amores que no pudieron ser en una actualidad donde ya no somos ni seremos quienes creíamos ser. Y reflexiona: “Quizá lo importante termina siendo vivir el sentimiento a flor de piel aunque nos sacuda de pies a cabezas y que todo lo demás sea anécdota. Toda persona merece un final feliz y si hubo amor que no pudo ser, también se merece una segunda oportunidad.”
