En esta oportunidad, la destacada distinción corporizada desde ahora en una estatuilla con la figura de Leonardo Favio, fue para Santiago Mitre, Ana Katz, Sebastián Boreztein, Lorena Muñoz, José Celestino Campusano y Franca González, así como para María Luisa Bemberg y César D’Angiolillo “in memorian” y para Sergio Rentero y Gabriela Plazas de Laboratorios Gotika por el Plan Recuperar.
El viernes a la noche en la amplia y confortable “Casa del Director”, sede de DAC en Villa Crespo, se adelantó la siempre esperada celebración del Día Nacional del Director Audiovisual. La conmemoración se celebra todos los 23 de julio, recordando la fecha de creación de DAC que esta vez cumple sus primeros jóvenes 65 años.
Participaron más de 500 invitados, directoras y directores del cine nacional y la televisión argentina junto a las más destacadas figuras y protagonistas de la industria audiovisual. Agasajados con excelente música y continua provisión gourmet, los presentes brindaron por el futuro con la esperanzada fuerza que, a pesar de las actualmente difíciles situaciones enfrentadas, siempre impulsa la actividad de su sector. En el habitual reencuentro que DAC propone cada año, se renovaron vínculos o se establecieron nuevos en esta gran noche feliz para el audiovisual argentino.
En el acto central de la reunión, recibieron el premio DAC a la trayectoria audiovisual 2023, Santiago Mitre, Ana Katz, Sebastián Boreztein, Lorena Muñoz, José Celestino Campusano, Franca González y “in memorian”, María Luisa Bemberg y César D’Angiolillo. A partir de esta oportunidad, los premios DAC están constituidos por una estatua de Leonardo Favio proporcionalmente reproducida a escala de la escultura original del director audiovisual y escultor Eric Dawidson, producida por la Fundación DAC y emplazada desde marzo último en Av. Corrientes y Vera de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires en homenaje al gran creador del cine y arte popular argentino.
