El Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente cuenta con una variada y muy aclamada  selección de música. Este año, en su aniversario número 25, BAFICI presenta grandes opciones para que el espectador tenga presente y disfrute tanto la música argentina como la internacional en la pantalla grande. Fuck You!El último show (Argentina, 2024, 83’), film del director José Luis García que aborda a Sumo, una de las bandas más emblemáticas del rock argentino, durante los preparativos y el desarrollo de un concierto histórico: la presentación de su último disco en el mítico Estadio Obras, registrado un par de meses antes de que muriera su líder Luca Prodan, se proyectará como función de clausura y será uno de los destacados de este festival. Adiós Sui Generis (Argentina, 1976, 72’), dirigida por Bebe Kamin, es el registro de la despedida de una banda fundamental del rock argentino, filmado el 5 de septiembre de 1975 durante las dos funciones ofrecidas en el estadio Luna Park ante más de 30 mil espectadores. La Habana de Fito (Cuba, 2023, 62’) film de Juan Pin Vilar, donde Fito Páez, trovador del rock argentino y latinoamericano, se reencuentra una vez más con La Habana, ciudad del corazón, y de muchos amigos. En una confesión de amor, el artista reflexiona sobre un país, su historia, sus músicos y sus contradicciones.
