En la noche del sábado se dieron a conocer las películas ganadoras de la edición número 13 del FICIC. La palisiada, de Philip Sotnychenko, resultó la ganadora de la Competencia Internacional de Largometrajes, mientras que Un movimiento extraño, de Francisco Lezama, fue la elegida como la mejor propuesta de la Competencia Internacional de Cortometrajes, y La Chispa, de Andrés Tagmanini, fue seleccionada como el Mejor Cortometraje de la Competencia Nacional Cortos de Escuela, que también se llevó el Premio del Público Confitería Europea. En las diferentes competencias también hubo menciones para Las cosas indefinidas, de María Aparición (Mención Competencia Internacional Largometrajes), For Here am i sitting a tin can for above the world, de Gala Hernández López (Mención Competencia Internacional Cortometrajes) y La Balandra, de Matías Lima (Mención Competencia Nacional Cortos de Escuela).  En los premios independientes, RAFMA otorgó el Premio Rafma Edgardo “Pipo” Bechara El Kouhry a Sofía, de Olivia Nuss (ENERC), en tanto que el premio APAC “Paola Suarez” de la Asociación de Productores Audiovisuales de Córdoba, a la Mejor película cordobesa de la competencia, fue para Las cosas indefinidas, y una mención especial para La amante de la luz de Lucía Torres Minolo.
