El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes “Oberá en Cortos” celebrará del 10 al 14 de octubre su 20º aniversario y realizadores de toda la región podrán participar con sus obras en dos certámenes competitivos: “Universitario” y “Entre Fronteras”. La convocatoria que abrió el 1º de junio cerrará la recepción de material este 1º de agosto (inclusive) a las dos competencias que se llevarán adelante en esta emblemática edición. Se podrán presentar cortometrajes de hasta 15 minutos de duración, los cuales podrán ser de ficción, animación, documental y experimental (videoarte, videodanza, ensayo, etc.).
Las obras deberán haberse terminado entre junio de 2020 y mayo de 2023 y deben estar subtituladas al castellano en caso de que éste no sea su idioma original.
Podrán participar en el certamen “Entre Fronteras” realizadores y realizadoras con residencia en la región integrada por las provincias del noreste argentino (Misiones, Corrientes, Chaco, Formosa y Entre Ríos), sur de Brasil (Estado de Paraná, Santa Catarina y Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay y Uruguay.
Mientras que en el certamen “Universitario Entre Fronteras”, podrán postularse producciones realizadas en el ámbito universitario donde participen estudiantes, graduados, docentes y no docentes de casas de estudios afines a la producción audiovisual, de la región anteriormente detallada.
En este vigésimo aniversario, Oberá en Cortos celebrará nuevamente
la temática que promueve desde sus inicios y caracteriza al festival: “la identidad y diversidad cultural”. Así, las obras que se postulen deberán estar relacionadas con esta premisa.
Los cortometrajes deberán inscribirse a través de la plataforma de Festhome, ingresando a través del sitio oficial del Festival www.oberaencortos.ar
Se seleccionarán 10 cortometrajes por cada uno de los certámenes, los cuales competirán por diferentes premios, entre ellos los que otorgarán CINE.AR; Contar, Argentores, Directores Argentinos Cinematográficos (DAC), Mercado de Industrias Culturales (MICA- Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación) y Cinecolor, entre otros.
La invitación este año no solo se centra en disfrutar del cine, sino que la comunidad audiovisual y el público general sean parte de una historia, de la historia cultural de la región.
El 20º aniversario del Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Oberá en Cortos está organizado por el Instituto de Artes Audiovisuales de Misiones, el Municipio de Oberá, la Universidad Nacional de Misiones y la Facultad de Arte y Diseño de Oberá. La producción general de esta edición está a cargo de la Cooperativa de Trabajo de Comunicación “Productora de la Tierra”, creadores de este encuentro único en la región.
